Positive Outcomes of the 2025 Business Conference: Curaçao Welcomes Spanish Entrepreneurs

As a result of the successful 2025 Business Conference, we continue to reap tangible outcomes. During the week of September 15–19, we had the privilege of hosting three Spanish entrepreneurs who traveled to Curaçao for the first time with the purpose of exploring investment opportunities on the island.
During their stay, the entrepreneurs visited various institutions and key sectors of interest for potential projects, including finance, real estate, and the maritime industry. They held meetings with local business leaders to discuss ideas and explore possible strategic alliances.
The highlight of this visit was the confirmation, by our guests, of Curaçao’s potential as a logistical hub for business meetings. Their presence on the island also attracted commercial counterparts from the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Canada, and Brazil, who seized the opportunity to meet in Curaçao with our visitors.
On Thursday, September 18, the Curaçao–Spain Business Development Agency hosted a networking cocktail attended by prominent leaders of the local business community. This event provided an ideal setting for the exchange of ideas, the strengthening of relationships, and the establishment of new connections between Spanish entrepreneurs and Curaçao’s business leaders.
